Audi, the German-based luxury car manufacturer company has recently announced the launch of a new model in India, Audi S4. The new model Audi S4 will be out with the cost price of Rs 45,31,000 onwards (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
Further, the company announced that the newly launch S4 will be sold in the country through 19 Audi dealerships.
While talking to media during the launch of Audi S4, Audi India Head Michael Perschke said, “With impressive sales growth in the first five months of this year and the launch of the Audi TT, new Audi A4 and now Audi S4, 2012 is proving to be an exciting time for us.”
If talked about the feature of Audi S4, the car is powered with a V6 3.0 TFSI engine, the Audi S4 can talk to air with a speed of 100 km/h in 5 seconds.
Meanwhile, the Audi India experienced a growth of 37 per cent during January to May of this year, sealing 3,281 vehicles as compared to 2,394 vehicles sold in the same period of the last year.
The company also recorded sales of 450 cars in May this year, a hike of 10% as compared to the same period of May 2011.
The Audi India is also planning to expand its network to 25 dealerships by the end of this year from its existing 19 centres.
The Audi model range in India includes Audi A4, Audi A6, and Audi A7 Sportback.
