The German-based luxury car manufacturer company, Audi, has recently announced that the company will launch its compact luxury SUV-Audi Q3 in India.
The new model of Audi Q3 comes with an amazing price tag as it priced between Rs.26.21 lakh and Rs.31.49 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
In a statement issued by the company state, the new Audi Q3 will be sold through company’s 19 dealerships allover India.
During the launch of Audi Q3, Audi India Head Michael Perschke said, “The launch of the Audi Q3 is in line with our top-down strategy for India. At present, only 500 Audi Q3s will be available for initial booking.”
He further said, “We are confident that Audi Q3 will repeat the success of Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 and further consolidate our leadership position in the luxury SUV segment.”
Meanwhile, the new SUV from Audi is powered with a 2.0 TDI quattro engine, the Audi Q3 is priced at Rs.26.21 lakh onwards (ex-showroom Maharashtra) for the base grade and Rs.31.49 lakh onwards (Ex-showroom Maharashtra) for the high grade.
Audi India reported a growth of 37 percent during January to May of this year, delivering 3,281 vehicles as compared to 2,394 vehicles delivered during the same period of 2011.
The company reported sales of 450 cars in May 2012, a hike of 10 percent over the same period of 2011.
The Audi India is also looking to expand its network to 25 dealerships by the end of 2012 from its existing 19 centres.
The Audi model range in India includes Audi A4, Audi A6, and Audi A7 Sportback.
