According to fresh reports, the well-known German car producer Audi, acknowledging the box office success of Bollywood film Bodyguard, has gifted an Audi Q7 SUV to the bad boy of Bollywood, actor Salman Khan in Mumbai.
While talking to media, during the event, Salman Khan said, “I am happy and I thank and appreciate them (Audi) for giving me this car. It is a beautiful car. We have used this car in the film and now they have given it to me in real life also….wish in every film we get a car so we don’t have to spend money on cars.”
The Bollywood Dabangg was talking to media after he was handed over the sleek white SUV by Audi (India) Head Michael Perschke at a function held at hotel Taj Land End.
The new SUV was widely used by Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the film that emerged as one of the highest grossers of Bollywood in 2011.
Highlighting to some of the accidents involving his cars in the past, Salman Khan quipped, “Mere gaadi ke experience woh wale bahut rahe hai”.
In a tongue-in-cheek statement, actor Salman Khan even said co-actress and his ex-flame Katrina Kaif too has the similar model of Audi.
On the other hand, one person was killed and four others sleeping on a pavement in suburban Bandra were injured when the actor’s Toyota Land Cruiser allegedly rammed into a bakery on the night of September 28, 2002.
In one more occurrence, the Dabangg actor’s car met with a minor accident around Deolali railway station, about 10 kms from Nashik, where he was shooting.
