As per latest reports, at least 200 people have left died in a fire swept through a nightclub in southern Brazil early Sunday.
The fire broke out as fast as within seconds at the Boate Kiss club building while a band on stage started a fireworks display, as per media report.
The exact toll of victims is still unclear and report has been said that hundreds might be injured.
However, bodies are still being removed from the Kiss nightclub in the southern city of Santa Maria, in Rio Grande do Sul state, a civil police officer told reporters.
There was only one emergency exit which, as per source, and terrified revelers who unable to found the exit left died as the flames engulfed the club, causing from inhaling toxic fumes or from being trampled.
Some reports said that there were as many as 2,000 people were in the nightclub when the fire broke out as it was believed to be full on a Saturday night.
Rescue processes are being operated as fire crews are in search of partygoers who stroke in panic and trapped inside escape.
As Brazil nightclub fire news spread out, President Dilma Rousseff who was on a visit to Chile, now returning to Brazil, a source said.
