Coal Allocation case: BJP calls nationwide agitation from Sept 17

The biggest opposition party BJP has announced that they will call for a nationwide agitation from September 17 demanding Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh’s resignation on the coal allocation issue case and cancellation of the allotments and demands a fresh probe by a Supreme court headed SIT.

Talking to media, BJP General Secretary Ananth Kumar said, “From September 17 to 24, we will hold the campaign across the country demanding the Prime Minister’s resignation. Manmohan Singh is the first and the main accused in the coal scam. He should resign.”

Mr. Kumar was sharing his views after his meeting with BJP leaders lead by president Nitin Gadkari.

Further, it is said in news that BJP leaders will lead a rally with their supports to the Raj Bhawans of their native states as part of the agitation named as ‘Raj Bhawan Chalo’.

The BJP leaders will then submit a memorandum to the governor of the state on their demands.

BJP leaders will follow same march protest at the district level and will go to district collector’s office.

The main motive of the biggest opposition party BJP is to take on ruling party on corruption, and also coal scam. The issue will be further talked at the BJP National Executive to be held on September 26 and the two-day National Council on September 27-28 at Surajkund in Haryana.
