Gaddafi Son Libya Trial would offer death, damage ICC

Muammar Gaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam would punish a death sentence in Libya as it has enough evidence against him, lawyer told International Criminal Court on Wednesday, as reports said.

Over a dispute on Seif al-Islam’s justice who is facing trial against arrest warrant issued by the ICC, Melinda Taylor, a lawyer appointed by court said there was no doubt he would be hanged if found guilty.

Arvind Kejriwal threatens to gherao Sonia Gandhi’s residence

Social activist and India Against Corruption [IAC] leader Arvind Kejriwal has today said in media that he along with disabled activists will gherao the residence of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on Friday and they will demand the resignation of law minister Salman Khurshid.

Arvind Kejriwal said this after the allegations on Salman Khurshid that the NGO operated by him and his wife has indulged in irregularities.

Malala Yousafzai’s bullet surgery ‘successful’, still unconscious

Malala Yousafzai, the 14-year-old Pakistani young right teenager activist who was shot by Taliban gunmen in the Swat Valley, is still struggling for her life as her health conditions are critical.

However, after an operation Pakistani Surgeons in Peshawar have removed a bullet from Malala’s spine which was gunned by Taliban gunman, injuring two others while they walked from school, sparking condemnation from politicians, activists and the public.

S&P warns of India’s credit downgrade again

Raising fear in Indian economy, today the largest rating agency Standard & Poor’s warned again that chances of India’s downgrading are still on high as likely to face a 1-in-3 chance of a credit rating downgrade within the next 24 months.

“A downgrade is likely if the country’s economic growth prospects dim, its external position deteriorates, its political climate worsens, or fiscal reforms slow,” eating agency said.

PM warns against ‘Mindless atmosphere of negativity’ over corruption

UPA government is doing and will do everything to transparent corruptional issues and also strengthen the anti-graft law, but creation of ‘mindless atmosphere of negativity and pessimism’ over corruption issue is totally decry, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said today, marking to activists Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan.

Mr. Singh addressing the 19th Conference of the CBI and State Anti-Corruption Bureau in New Delhi, promised to strengthen the anti-corruption amendment in wake to transparency over bribe cases to remove difference in the Prevention of Corruption Act by bringing in line with international practices, reports said.

Five dead is US Drone strike in Pakistan

Latest reports have said that a suspected U.S. missile strike has killed around 5 people in northwestern Pakistan, near the Afghan border.

As per reports issued by Pakistani intelligence officials, missiles were fired by US Drone early on October 10 at a house near Mir Ali town in North Waziristan.

It is added that the area is home to the Taliban and other terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda.

BDM’s Director Sudhir Mahajan kidnapped, Rs 2 crore demanded

According to latest reports, the cricket bat manufacturing company’s director, Sudhir Mahajan has been kidnapped, police said today.

Sudhir Mahajan BDM’s Director, 55-years-old, was kidnapped last night when he was coming back to his house in his car from the factory located in Delhi.

Police said, the car was stopped by some armed abductors near the Ganganagar police post, and Sudhir Mahajan BDM’s Director along with his driver was kidnapped.
