First Look: Sonakshi Sinha’s retro look in ‘Himmatwala’ song ‘Thank god it’s Friday’

The Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will be seen dancing a retro disco number in Sajid Khan’s next film ‘Himmatwala’. The title of the retro disco song is ‘Thank god it’s Friday’.

It is said that Sonakshi has inspired by veteran actresses Sridevi and Parveen Babi to do the retro disco song. The first look of the song is released and the actress seen in a vintage sequined golden dress and headband.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha’s dress is quite same as the dress bears by Parveen Babi’s look in the song ‘Pyaar karne waale’ from the film ‘Shaan’.

In another photo, Sonakshi is wearing black-coloured tight pants, a jacket and boots, a striking resemblance of Sridevi’s disco look from ‘Chaalbaaz’.

However, when media asked the actress about the song, she said, “Manish has done a fantastic job and I absolutely love my look. I also watched the original videos of these 2 songs before I started shooting. I would even watch other songs in the vanity to understand the dancing and the style of that era.”

Filmmaker Sajid Khan is making this film with action-hero Ajay Devgn and Tammanah.
