Such statement has stated by company in World Economic Forum Annual Meeting and HCL Technologies CEO Vineet Nayar said, “The world is today a melting point dealing with different kinds of problems. And when we come to Forum like this, it is important for India and companies from the country such as HCL, to be seen as a solution, rather than being seen as a reason for the problem.”
HCL will able to create thousands jobs for Indian people in US and Europe markets by building new business models in two regions and it will change the perception of Indian companies are not shifting outside and not participating as socially responsible enterprises.
HCL has recently made investment in several markets of Seattle, Raleigh, Rochester, NY and Wilsonville, Oregon and it resulted in recruitment of several local workers in a huge amount. The expansion in investment will help the company to make possible collaboration with govt., universities, society and stakeholders that ultimately boost its business in two regions.
Recruitment and Training programs for college graduates with collaboration of 12 universities will be offered by the company in form of a six-month elective course under which the innovative contests will also be established such as the HCL-M-Prize.
At this time while Indian companies are facing tough economic crisis and having cut off jobs by institutes, HCL business model surly will proves a bigger rising slope.
Nayar said, “It would be a major shift, as there are many global companies shipping jobs outside the US, but we Indian companies would be creating jobs in those markets. This will also change the idea of ‘Buy American, be American’ or now ‘Buy European, be European’.”
