A very famous Kannada film actress Pooja Gandhi today called off her wedding with her fiancé Ananda Gowda, accusing him for ‘ill-treating’ her and her family.
It is said in reports that just five week ago the couple got engaged.
Meanwhile, the actress who recently left Janata Dal (S) and joined the newly launched Karnataka Janata Party (KJP), was crying while announcing that she has called off her wedding with Ananda.
Talking to media, Pooja said, “I am in no way responsible for break up. He alone is responsible. He is a suspecting character. He suspects me and insults me.”
Further, the actress said, “I tolerated a lot. Tried to save my relationship with him. But he pushed me into mental depression.”
Pooja Gandhi rejected Ananda Gowda’s accusations, who blamed her mother for the current situation and ruled out any rapprochement
She said, “I have returned the engagement ring this morning.”
Pooja has so far worked in almost 40 films, and her last film Dandupalya was a hit.
