The Bollywood actress and Anil Kapoor’s daughter, Sonam Kapoor has been signed to play the main lead role in the remake of Khubsoorat released in 1980.
However, before the start of the shooting of the film, Sonam Kapoor wants to take tips from veteran actress Rekha who originally played a chirpy and fun-loving girl in the film.
A source said, “She wants to understand the character well and take Rekha’s advice how to go about it.”
The 1980 hit Khubsoorat film was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.
Meanwhile, Shashanka Ghosh will direct the remake of Khubsoorat and film will be produced by Anil Kapoor and Rekha.
