Karbonn launches, first quad-core CPU phone, ‘S1Titanium Smart’

Karbonn Mobiles has launched India’s first quad-core CPU smartphone, called Karbonn S1 Titanium Smart phone.

The Pre-booking has started on the company official website as still no retailer reported to have started offering the device.

Karbonn S1 Titanium packs with a 4.5-inch IPS qHD display with 960×540p and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS platform with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera.

The device has faster processing and mobility than other available Indian smartphones as of having a power of quad-core CPU processor, offering well voice mobility experience, user interfaces. The processor has with in-built Adreno 203 GPU supports graphics applications.

Over other specs, Smart Titanium 1 is a Dual-SIM device come with GSM+GSM functionality, while for connectivity 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, EDGE, GPRS and GPS options are supported.

There is 4GB of internal storage expandable upto 32GB via microSD, while RAM detail unknown.

It has been said that Karbonn S1 Titanium would be set a competition with Micromax recently launched Canvas HD (A116) phablet, runs on MediaTek’s quad-core processor.

Both devices reported to have similar specs and are still waiting for sale in market. Karbonn will have set its S1 Titanium Smartphone at Indian market with price tag of Rs. 10,990.
