According to latest news around three persons were killed and many others were injured when a portion of an under-construction bridge collapsed near the International Airport here at Mumbai.
It is said in news that many people were still trapped under the debris of an under-construction bridge.
Talking to media, officials said, “Eight fire tenders and four ambulances have been rushed to the spot and rescue operations are underway.”
Further, an official from the fire department said that people trapped beneath the debris are mostly workers.
It is said that all the injured were soon shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a case of negligence has also been registered against the construction company L&T.
This is the second such mishap in Mumbai in less than a month.
