Pakistan bashing has become fashionable in India, stop it: Bashir

A big and tensed blow on LoC between Indian and Pakistan Army, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India , Salman Bashir on Thursday came in front of media with a call  “to end Pakistan bashing”.

Referring to the mutilation of an Indian soldier along the Line of Control in Poonch, Mr. Bashir denied that the act was committed by the Pakistani Army.

“Pakistan bashing has become fashionable” in India, he said, source said.

“These horrific happenings and heinous acts are condemnable”, he said calling to end Pakistan bashing.

Mr. Bashar also said that Indian soldiers were with their limits, not cross the LoC.

Over Pakistan’s offer for Foreign-Minister-level talks, Mr. Bashir suggested to accept the proposal to try to cool tensions as well as for mutual interest of both the nations.

The government is getting to the bottom of the issue, deeply concerns the matter and has a willingness to conduct another probe into the incident, he further added.

Referring to the Pak Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar’s offer of talks, he said that India should accept it as Pakistan had also lost three soldiers in firing by the Indian Army.

As per source report, to make talks with Pak is impossible from side of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who has made it clear to Pakistan that bodies of those who mutilated the Indian soldiers killed in Pakistani firing last week, must be brought to book first.
