Paris Shooting: PKK co-founder among 3 women found dead

Three female Kurdish activists, reported to including a founder of the militant nationalist the Kurdistan Worker’s Party , Sakine Cansiz have been shot dead in Paris.

The victims have found dead with gunshot wounds overnight today in a Kurdish information centre, reports said.

The killings were “intolerable”, French interior minister, Manuel Valls, said, and called it ‘assassination’, as per media information.

Still there is no report over motive behind the Paris shooting.

Some Turkey politicians condemned it as an attempt to break a peace deal of Turkey with PKK .

Recently, Turkish government has talked with PKK jailed rebel leader Abdullah Ocalan, an attempt to end the 25-year conflict that has claimed tens of thousands of lives, reports further said.

The killings have raised tension in Turkey as more than hundreds of Kurds gathered in front of the centre, protesting against govt.

The govt is investigating the whole matter to determine the exact circumstances.
