As per the latest news of the day, the ruling SAD-BJP collaboration in the Punjab state has been leading the poll with around 57 seats under its belt, while opposite party Congress is heading on 33 seats in Punjab.
These are the prediction as reported by the early trends available in the counting of votes for 117 Assembly constituencies till 9:30 AM.
Further, it is said in reports that the biggest opposition party in the Punjab state, Congress is leading in regions like Ghanaur, Amritsar Central, Khadoor Sahab, Garh Shankar, Talwandi Sabo, Rajpura, Fatehgarh Churian, Samana and Patiala.
It is also said in reports that the Former Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh was leading in Patiala and his son Raninder Singh from Samana.
On the other hand, the ruling SAD was leading in Raja Sansi, Sultanpur Lodhi, Faridkot, Nabha, Barnala, Attari, Ropar and Balachaur.
In addition, the Punjab Assembly Speaker Nirmal Singh Kahlon was straggling in Fatehgarh Churian.
Another strong and front head party in the state, BJP, was leading in Phagwara, Anandpur Sahab and Dasuya while an Independent was leading from Amritsar East.
