All the celebrities of B-Town presented in the 7th Chevrolet Apsara Awards that held at Mumbai’s plush Yash Raj Studios.

Performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ameesha Patel, Anushka Sharma, Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza enhanced the beauty of the Award Ceremony where celebrities took their feet at Red Carpet.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Rockstar” brought at the top most categories and the actor’s performance in film gave him “Best Actor Award”. “Rockstar” also picked up three awards for music that composed by Oscar winning composer AR Rahman who got Best Music award for it and Mohit Chauhan got award as Best Playback Singer Male for ‘Sadda Haq’.

But Hritik’s “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” got “The Best Film Award” and overall six awards bagged to it. Zoya Akhtar’s took “Best Director” and Farhan Akhtar as “The Best Supporting Actor” for the same film.

Amongst the actress, Vidya Balan got “Best Actress Award” for her performance in “The Dirty Picture” while the best supporting actress award along with the best debutant (female) award took by Parineeti (Priyanka Chopra’s cousin) for her portrayal in “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl”.

Apsara Award also gave honour to Indian Bollywood legends by celebrating 100 years of cinema by givinf awards to them. Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna, Zeenat Aman and Jaya Bachchan were presented there and came up to the stage to collect the same.

Interestingly Salman’s Bodyguard was no where in the Award list and only Shreya Goshal bagged the Best Playback Singer award for ‘Teri Meri’ from Bodyguard.
