The Bollywood buzz states that the king khan Shahrukh Khan has recently accepted West Bengal government’s proposal to become brand ambassador of the state.
The information was given to media that Chief Minister of the state during the press conference at the state secretariat Writers’ Buildings in Kolkata on Monday.
Talking to media, the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “Shahrukh Khan has become brand ambassador of West Bengal.”
Further briefing the matter to media some sources from Secretariat said that the Bollywood actor had written a letter to the state chief minister conveying his acceptance of the proposal.
King khan Shahrukh said, “West Bengal is my second home.”
Earlier, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had requested Shahrukh Khan to become the brand ambassador of West Bengal during a chat after the inauguration of the 17th Kolkata film Festival last November.
At that time, Shahrukh Khan had accepted the chief minister’s request.
