Tuesday will be swearing –in ceremony of Trinamool Congress nominee Mukul Roy as the next railways minister who will response to the rail budget debate in Parliament later this week.
After a move of party Chief Mamata Banerjee referenced Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to accept her application in favour of Roy, her first choice as the railways minister.
On Monday after a 20-minute meeting with Banerjee, Mr.Singh granted the approval of Roy as Railway Minister.

Finally Dinesh Trivedi took a decision to resign as Railway Minister on Sunday after Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee went to Delhi in the evening to address a meeting.
“I spoke to Mamata to get her confirmation and she said that I should step down, it was the party’s decision. I must thank the TMC, Mamata, the entire cabinet and the captain Manmohan Singh,” Trivedi said on Sunday while speaking to Mamata.

The fate of Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi whether he would stay in his post or may resign will be decided after Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will reveal the budget report today in Parliament.
Dinesh Trivedi who has presented rail budget for 2012-13 proposed around 20 per cent passenger fare hike on all classes and this has been totally refused by his party Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee who in her ire wrote PM to left out him.
However on Thursday Trivedi had resigned, but Pranabh refused his resignation yet and asked member in Lok Sabha to wait till PM not reviewed Banergee’s sacking letter.

Suchitra Mahato, a top woman Maoist leader, also a close aide of Kishenji, surrendered on Friday to the Intelligence branch. Suchitra had escaped after the Maoist top-gun Kishenji was killed last year by the joint forces on November 24 at Burisole jungle.
Calling Suchitra’s attempt of surrender an “offer of peace”, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said, “”Suchitra used to lead the Maoist and was a very important (Maoist leader). She has surrendered for ushering in peace. This is a big thing. Bengal lagged behind. Let’s work for peace to lead the state forward.”

Mamata ruling West Bengal government is come in the critical situation after a mother of two children filed an FIR under a brutal rape with the Park Street police station.
Firstly, the Govt. called victim a rubbish, told a fake story and claimed her complains as a conspiracy to malign West Bengal government and blamed some TV channels for projecting it. A state minister questioned the morality of the victim.
Being embarrassed by govt. blame, the victim said, “The funny thing is that I have been raped, I have been assaulted, I have been victimized. And I am still being victimized.”
Although the victim was firstly mocked by police officers, but now CCTV camera footage, collected from the night club where brutal rape attempted, shows the victim was indeed telling the truth. The police said that she was raped at gunpoint as she claims.
