SEBI sets high terms for exchanges to wish list

It has been reported that now there would be change in the procedure of listing recommendations by Bimal Jalan committee, the former governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

This has made by the Capitalization market regulator SEBI which has allowed listing of local stock exchanges on basis of some conditions, as like some countries.

Now as per new norms, after three years from the time of securing approvals, Stock exchanges and depositories will self-list. But one condition is that it will do after a departure of their regulatory and business functions are made to solve conflict of interest.

Kings XI Punjab is young and balanced team: Adam Gilchrist

The latest news from the IPL 2012, the Kings XI Punjab captain-cum-coach Adam Gilchrist has recently said in an interview that his team might not have big names but his team is much balanced for the IPL 5 statrting from 4th April, 2012.

Talking to media at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium in Mohali, he said, “We necessarily don’t have a big list of names that match up with some other franchises, but we have a balanced squad. We are playing competitive cricket. I don’t think there is any secret tactic that will guarantee victory.”

When asked about his role in the team, the former Australian wicket-keeper said, “Obviously it is an additional role of being captain-cum-coach or you can call me by whatever name you like, by name of job description. But it is going to be a combined coaching effort.”

Seven killed in California College firing, former student arrested

Shooting spree at a Christian college in California by a 43-year-old former student took all citizens into a threatening mystery Monday night.

The suspect, One Goh, identified by Police, opened fire freely at school on Monday, left at least seven people dead and wounded three.

Oakland Police has reported that Oakland Police, a Korean-American, surrendered at a Safeway grocery store several miles away from the scene at Oikos University in Oakland.

No one knows his motive behind the killings at Oikos University in East Oakland, even not Police.

“Angry Birds Space” is not just for smartphone & tablets

The latest ‘Angry Birds Space’ that was released last month emphasize by 30 million people a day for a total of 300 million minutes, now approaches to small and big screen in your home. The amazing mobile game ANGRY Birds hit record, downloading 20 million times in its first week.

Now it is coming on your TV screen with its initial 52 episodes of Angry Birds cartoons characters lasting between two-and-a-half to three minutes each by the end of the year, according to Rovio Company.

Rovio, the company that push and make hit the Angry Birds game, said it plans to debut it into cartoons using Disney as its model.

“We’re going to roll out a weekly animation series later this year of shortform content,” Rovio’s head of animation, Nick Dorra, announced in a conference in Cannes, France.

Vijay Mallya promises salaries by 4th April, cancels 10 fights

Kingfishers, the cash –scrapped airline is now completely under grounded situation as Monday called a full lock out day for it as a number of pilots, engineers, cabin crew and staff refused to call on duty in form of protest outstanding salaries payments.

This denied has cancelled ten flights from Mumbai and Delhi, fearing to more cancellations, KFA promoter Vijay Mallya has promised to start making salaries payments from 4 April.

In his written promising letter, Mallya, said, “the formalities of un-freezing our bank accounts was completed on March 31 following our payment of Rs 44 crore to the Income Tax and Rs 20 crore to the Service Tax authorities.”
