SAD MLAs to go on thanks tours in Punjab
North Indian State Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal with the newly elected SAD MLAs have been visited on many religious places for following “thanks giving” tours.
Before addressing meeting of newly elected MLAs in Chandigarh, Prakash singh Badal with his son Sukhbir Singh Badal visited Golden Temple and Durgiana Mandir in Amritsar on March 7 also with their family.
After that they carried on for Anandpur Sahib, to being a part of the Hola Mohalla celebrations.
However their “thanks giving mission” would continue till March 14 before the swearing-in ceremony. At this time non-Congress chief ministers have come together on some issues like National Counter Terrorism Centre and all know that Akalies victory in Punjab by assembly election is only due to the Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP coalition.
As per source report, took the opportunity to thank for giving a huge support in victory, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has invited by a telephoning to his eastern state West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee to his swearing in ceremony that is being held on 14 March at Chhapar Chiri, the memorial of Baba Banda Bahadur, who has followers in both Sikh and Hindu communities.
Giving all party victory credits only to God’s blessings, Mr. Prakash Singh Badal said, “The party got many seats with very narrow margins, which became possible only due to God’s grace. So, let’s express our gratitude to the almighty by visiting the religious shrines in our areas.”
