Roscosmos 300x240 Russia introduces Space Plan beyond 2030As per recent announcement, Roscosmos, Russian space agency planned to send a man to the moon by 2030, currently developing a “prospective manned transportation system” to be sent to the moon.

Before finalizing its manned mission to moon, Moscow has set different space exploration activities- 2015, 2020, 2030 as the footpath for mission.

As per source, Vladimir Popovkin, head of Roscosmos, in January, told about its future plans to set up manned moon research bases with European and US partners and said the space was plans to set up a moon base, otherwise to launch an orbital station.

But recently they said, Roscosmos will resume lunar exploration by 2015 using an unmanned space ship along with other plan to send a manned mission to the moon by 2030.

Except this, two unmanned moon missions- Luna-Glob (Lunar Sphere) by 2020 and Luna-Resurs in 2015, built with same technologies will also in way to send in the space.

But before resuming these, the test- launch may be fired to remove the dangerous results of failure mission like Mars moon Phobos mission that resulted cosmetic radiations.

Mars moon Phobos mission launched in November 2011 based on design to bring back rock and soil samples from Martian moon Phobos. Due to engine failure, it got stuck in an Earth orbit and fell down in January.
