Sony unveils PlayStation4- The future of home entertainment

Cheering with the world, Sony Corp unveiled its first and newest future of home entertainment- new-generation PlayStation video gaming console in seven years on Wednesday.

Sony PlayStation 4, successor of PlayStation 3 consoles features an eight-core processor lets users to experience the ‘superfast most powerful gaming network” allow to stream games, films, music and more.

Pre- attempt by the Sony Corp. seeks to back its position from rivals Microsoft Corp. and Nintendo Co., the next version of the industry-leading Xbox console which will likely to be launch in June, as expected.

Sony has unveiled PlayStation 4 at an event in New York City on Wednesday evening, with improved graphics and an updated controller ‘Dual shock 4′ based on cloud-based gaming technology, including a touchpad , a share button and a light bar lets users experience new camera on gaming system for motion control, as per company announcement.

There is a Move motion controller all in real time, source said, which allow people create animation in 3-D using. Some games unveiled for the PS4 such as “Drive Club,” “Infamous- Second Son,” “The Witness” and “Killzone- Shadow Fall”.

Interestingly, with revamping UI, Sony has streamed its latest mobile gaming device, the PlayStation Vita with the console through a feature called ‘Remote Play’, offering full fledged social networking features, the company claimed.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on its pricing and availability which has not disclosed, but expecting that the console with an affordable pricing plan would be available for the holiday 2013 season.
