Prince Harry in Afghan ‘Taliban Kill’ Mission

Prince Harry, 27 year old RAF helicopter pilot who was on a mission in Afghanistan, has killed his first Taliban commander in an airstrike, as per latest media reports.

The third in line to the British throne flew to Afghan on petrol in late October, as part of an Apache attack helicopter Army Corps for facilitating air support rescuing a Taliban leader. Read more

Hamid Karzai also met the External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid.

Reports have said that around four MOUs were signed between the two nations. The four agreements were in diverse areas, such as mines and fertilizers, youth affairs, small development projects and fertilizers. Read more

Five Royal UK marines charged with murder in Afghan

The British Ministry of Defence announced that five UK Royal Marines among nine marines have been arrested with charge of murder over insurgent’s death in Afghanistan in 2011.

Five Royal Marines are the first British troops arrested under murder charges in the country during the Afghanistan conflict arising from 2001, and now at that time when 9,500 deploying troops are expected to leave Afghanistan by the end of 2014. Read more

Five dead is US Drone strike in Pakistan

Latest reports have said that a suspected U.S. missile strike has killed around 5 people in northwestern Pakistan, near the Afghan border.

As per reports issued by Pakistani intelligence officials, missiles were fired by US Drone early on October 10 at a house near Mir Ali town in North Waziristan.

It is added that the area is home to the Taliban and other terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda. Read more
