Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi can be tried for 2002 violence: Amicus curiae

In a shock to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, Supreme Court directed its Amicus curiae Raju Ramachandran’s report on the post-Godhra 2002 riots.

It held that Narendra Modi can be offence for urging enmity among different groups, strongly allow Hindus to express their anger after Godhra incident in which more than 1,200 people were killed.
