Denied to comment over CAG’s estimated loss figure of Rs 1.76 lakh crore for the “shuttering” of the spectrum in telecom sector on first-come-first-serve service in 2008, the Indian government announced to set next spectrum auctions bids by March-end.
This time auction would be followed for those telecom areas which have not come in this week’s worset flop event of telecom mobile spectrum, such as Delhi and Mumbai and price will be decided very soon by an Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM). Read more
