RIM aims CDMA devices to hike sales in India
The freshly announced Research in Motion (RIM), BlackBerry India cuts price may attract more customers using its CDMA devices as enhance the sales level.
Curve 8530 model is the most popular CDMA version of BlackBerry’s Curve 8520, that cost Rs 13,500 is now re launching with 12 per cent cut of price of Rs 11,990.
Announcing its re-launching decision, Head of RIM India of CDMA business said, “Smartphones are getting popular day by day, but a majority of these are on GSM technology. While CDMA mobile phones have been popular, there is a very little choice for consumers when it comes to CDMA smartphones. And that is why we are re-launching Curve 8530.” Read more
