Mumbai Explosion, 5 dead in wall collapse, at Sakinaka Unit

An explosion rocked Sakinaka area of Mumbai, killed at least five people and several others were left critically injured, as per reports.

The blast occurred in Friday morning in a house caused the walls to collapse in a workshop in KD compound, Khairani road, near Hari Masjid, Sakinaka area, source said.

Following the explosion, fire broke out in workshop. However, the cause of the explosion is unknown, police is investigating the incident.

Among victims, three who killed are from the same family were sleeping in their house when the incident occurred adjacent to a small-scale industrial unit.

House wall collapse is reported to be the cause of their death. Sources said that fire brigades along with ambulances were reached to the spot and injured  rushed to the Rajawadi hospital.
