India beats England by 9 wickets, Ojha and Pujara Shines

The Indian cricket team has won the first test match against England by 9 wickets at Motera here Monday and takes a lead in the four test match series.

Opener from the Indian cricket team Virender Sehwag (25) and Cheteswar Pujara (41 not out) helped India to chase the target of 77 runs in 15.3 overs. Virat Kohli was not out at 14 runs.

Earlier, England team got all out at 406 runs in their second innings at lunch. Captain Alastair Cook was the top scorer with 176 runs and Prior made superb 91 runs, but that was not enough to save them from a defeat. Read more
