‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ crosses the Rs 100 crore mark in India

Jab Tak Hai Jaan1 150x150 Jab Tak Hai Jaan crosses the Rs 100 crore mark in IndiaThe Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has joined the club of 100 crore for the second time as his latest released film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ has crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore in India itself.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, “#JTHJ [2nd Week] Fri 2.75 cr. Total: 101.16 cr nett. CROSSES 100 cr MARK IN INDIA.”

When released, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, had mixed reviews and audiences came due to filmmaker Yash Chopra’s name but slowly the film worked well. Read more

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ earns Rs 258 cr, will be release in Japan in 2013

The super hit film of 2012, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ released on 15 August, featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead role, is still earning minting money.

Meanwhile, the film had earned Rs 199.3 crore in India and Rs 59.63 crore in abroad.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently tweets, “2012 is significant year for YRF. ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ Worldwide business Rs 258.93 cr + JTHJ Worldwide business Rs 150.41 cr [still counting] = Rs 409.34 cr.” Read more

Katrina refuses to accept award for Salman at People’s Choice Awards

Bollywood buzz is that the Dabangg actor was not present to receive his award at the People’s Choice Awards event, which will go on air on Colors TV soon.

Therefore, the host of the show Ayushmann Khurrana requested Katrina Kaif, who was present in the audiences, to receive the awards on his behalf, but the actress refused to take the award and left everyone shocked.
