Around 40 people killed in Bangladesh ferry disaster
Around 200 passengers bordered a double- decker ferry, Shariatpur 1 sunk in the Meghna River, killing 40 passengers and remaining may be trapped inside.
In the early morning of Tuesday, a ferry plunged to the river bed while being hit by an oil barge when crossing the Meghna River at about 2.30am and drivers were failed in their efforts to raise the boat.
As per divers saying, the eight bodies near the scene at dawn had found but remaining were still missing. Read more
