The main eyewitness, Sacked Uttarakhand Minorities Commission Chairman Sukhdev Singh Namdhari has been booked for the murder of king of liquor Ponty Chadha’s Brother Hardeep Singh Chadha.
The case has been registered under section 302 of Indian Penal Code and police requested 7 days custody of Namdhari for further investigation of Hardeep’s murder in the twin murder shoot out at Ponty’s Chhatarpur farmhouse in New Delhi. Read more
The investigating team of Police is now searching for Sukhdev Singh Namdhari, the key witness and complainant in the case of killing of liquor baron Ponty Chadha and his brother Hardeep.
The police are hunting for Sukhdev Singh Namdhari and his associates.
In addition, the police team has also conducted raids on Thursday night at number of locations of Sukhdev Singh Namdhari’s hide-outs in Uttarakhand.
Earlier on November 17, the Delhi Police allowed Namdhari to leave Delhi after recording his statement at the Chattarpur farmhouse in south Delhi. Read more
The Bollywood film industry is also stunned with the sensational murder of Ponty Chadha, as he has multi-crore fortune in the industry.
However, his death has left huge impact on the liquor industry but also caste black shadow over several films that he has slated to finance.
Talking to media, a Delhi-based distributor, without disclosing his name said, “Ponty was a great fan of films and of late he has been one of the leading distributors in the Hindi film industry. Now that he is no more, the fate of many films is unknown.” Read more
India’s most powerful and the king of a liquor and real estate, Gurdeep Singh Chadha alias Ponty was died in a shoot out while a raging feud with his brother Hardeep Sing Chadha turned to a deadly shootout in which both killed.
However, cremation process did on Sunday after following two post mortems which concluded that both were shooted at their chest with around 20 bullets, including 12 were received by Ponty, while Hardeep was shot eight times.
