Fresh reports have said that the British police have arrested all the four accused, including a woman, who attacked on Lt Gen (retd) Kuldeep Singh Brar, he led the Operation Bluestar in 1984.
Talking to media, an official from Metropolitan Police Service said, “Officers from the MPS have arrested three men and one woman on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in connection with the investigation into the attempted murder of an Indian man (Brar) in central London on September 30.”
He said, “All the four are being taken to a central London police station where they will be interviewed by detectives.”
Further, police official said they first arrest a 33-years-old man and a 40-years-old woman from Wolverhampton at about 17:00 BST (2230 IST).
He said the British police now arrest a 34-years-old man after being stopped in a car in West Bromwich about 30 minutes later, and later a 25-years-old man was also arrested.
He said, “All four are being taken to a central London police station where they will be interviewed by detectives. Inquiries are ongoing and police continue to appeal for information into the incident.”
Meanwhile, Lt Gen (retd) Kuldeep Singh Brar was on private visit to London, when he was attacked by four men in Old Quebec Street near Oxford Street on Sunday night when he was returning to his hotel with his wife.
