Aamir Khan takes Satyamev Jayate to radio

The Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is doing everything to generate better audiences for his Star Plus show ‘Satyamev Jayate’. This time he has taken his show to radio station.

Recently, Aamir Khan did a 2-hour long show with Big FM, and the special radio show was aired on June 30, 2012 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Meanwhile, Big FM’s RJ Ankit was also present with the actor during the show.

While talking to media, Rabe T Iyer, Business Head, Big FM said, “Aamir is well known in the circles as an ace marketer, but while doing a show such as ‘Satyamev Jayate’, it was also important for him to get feedback from across the length and breadth of this country.”

Further, Rabe T Iyer said, “With our presence spanning across 45 cities, 1,000 towns and 50,000 villages and a weekly reach of over four crore Indians, especially from tier II and tier III cities, going live on our station was a natural choice.”

When asked to Aamir about his experience in radio station, Aamir said, “I am very happy to have this opportunity on Big FM to connect with my audiences. With ‘Satyamev Jayate’, our endeavour has been to address key issues plaguing the nation, the show today has gone a long way in helping us get firsthand feedback about the show, how it has impacted us and how the show can play a catalyst in bringing about the much required change in our society.”

On the other hand, reports have said that Big FM has entered into a content partnership with Star TV for this special segment. With this, Big FM will now promote the show heavily on its station as well as other digital sources.

The Big FM has 200,000 fans on its Facebook fan page.

The actor also posted tweets which are getting high response.
