The Mr. Perfectionist of the Hindi Film Industry, Actor Aamir Khan has once again come-up with a very serious issue of Child Sex Abuse int eh 2nd episode of his first ever TV show, ‘Satyamev Jayate’, on Star Plus this Sunday.
Further, the Bollywood actress Sridevi made a guest appearance on the show, to motivate and support the victums of child sex.
Sridevi, the 48-years-old actress, came to the show to meet Harish Aiyer, one of the victims of child abuse who told actor Aamir Khan that he was abused by a man for around 11 years.
Talking with Aamir Khan, Harish Aiyer said that when he tried to tell his mother, she didn’t take him seriously.
Further, telling his story to Aamir, he said that only his pet dog and Bollywood movies supported him and motivated him to fight against this crime, especially the ones starring actress Sridevi. And this is the reason why the actress made a special appearance on Aamir’s Satyamev Jayate.
Moreover, Harish was very happy when he saw the actress and later received a gift from his favourite star.
On the Star Plus show, Aamir Khan also talked with other victims who shared their horrific experiences of being molested, sodomised and threatened by their tormentors.
In addition, Cinderella Prakash, another victim, told the actor that how she was abused by a 55-year-old man when she was just 12-years-old.
As per the study conducted, around 53 percent children who went through child sexual abuse were boys, now this is very shocking, but this is the truth.
Aamir Khan ended the show with Good Touch, Bad Touch workshop for children to teach them about the importance of understanding sexual abuse and recognizing predators.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan also appealed to people of the country to support and force the government to pass the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Bill in parliament.
