The first super star of Bollywood, Rajesh Khanna passes away in Mumbai today.
The superstar was fighting with illness for a long time, and was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Reports have said that the actor took last breath at his r home Aashirwad in Mumbai.
Rajesh Khanna was 70-years-old.
The actor’s health was critical since April this year and he was admitted to the hospital several times.
His death is a big loss for the Hindi film industry and he will always be rembered to millions of fans as ‘Kaka’
During his Bollywood life, he gave 15 consecutive solo superhits between 1969 and 1972 including ‘Aradhana‘, ‘Haathi Mere Saathi‘, ‘Anand‘ and ‘Amar Prem‘
He is survived by his wife, actress Dimple Kapadia and two daughters, Twinkle Khanna and Rinkie Khanna.
