Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is very happy for his niece Kareena Kapoor who is set to tie the knot with Saif Ali Khan.
Reports have said that Babita had gone personally to invite Neetu Singh and Rishi kapoor for the wedding and therefore differences between the two families has improved in the past few years.
When media asked Rishi Kapoor about wedding celebrations in the family, he said, “I’m very happy for Kareena and Saif. It’s going to be great fun at the celebrations. God bless them both.”
In fact, Rishi Kapoor had done a film with Saif Ali Khan. Rishi ji said, “I’ve done two films that have been very important in Saif’s career. Hum Tum, for which he won the National Award in Best Actor category, and Love Aaj Kal, which was his first production venture.”
Meanwhile, wedding preparations are on full swing and both the families are doing their best to make it special.
The ceremonies are on till tomorrow, while the reception for the Dawat-e-Walima will be hosted by Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore in New Delhi on October 18.
