The fresh Bollywood buzz state that the co-producer of soon to be released film Agent Vinod, Dinesh Vijan, has recently said in an interview that the popular song from the movie ‘Pungi Baja De’ is an original song.
Talking to media, in a press event, the co-producer said, “Are you finding any similarity in the track? Pritam Chakraborty (composer) has made an original song. I don’t see any reference. All I can say is that this has become the original song.”
Meanwhile, his statement came at a time when a legal notice was served to the team of ‘Agent Vinod‘ including Eros International Media, Illuminati Films Private Ltd, Pritam Chakraborty and Super Cassettes Ltd for lifting the song (Pungi Baja De) from the music band, Barobax Corp.
It is said in legal notice that the starting part of the song ‘Pungi Baja De’ has been taken by the film without any change from the title song of the band’s album.
The most awaited film of the year, Saif’s ‘Agent Vinod‘, which is set to release on 23 March 2012, has already gained much attraction from media after a Saif’s brawl with Iqbal Sharma.
Though, co-producer do not believe in negative publicity of the films.
He said, “We don’t believe any publicity is good publicity.”
‘Agent Vinod‘ casts actor Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead role and is directed by Sriram Raghavan.
