Meanwhile, the actor allegedly beat up businessman Iqbal Sharma at the Taj. However, the actor has said in media that there are two versions of the story. Saif Ali Khan has maintained that there is no publicity stunt for the promotion of his upcoming film Agent Vinod, which is scheduled to release in March this year.

Talking to media, he said, “I have already said there are two sides to the story. I have complete faith in the court of law and they will best decide about the case.”

Moreover, the actor, along with businessman Shakeel Ladak and filmmaker Bilal Amrohi, were arrested for beating up businessman Iqbal Sharma and his father on Wednesday. They managed to get bail soon after the arrest.

Talking to media about the incident, a police official said, “We have questioned eyewitnesses, including the hotel staff and management. Their statements have corroborated Sharma`s version. This is a simple case so far and we will file a chargesheet very soon.”
