Breaking news: Fire at Chennai Airport hits flight operations

In yet tragedy, a fire broke out inside the air traffic control room at Chennai airport early morning today.

Within 20 minutes, the fire turned into massive blaze, damaging the whole computers and ceiling in Air Traffic Control hall, after the smoke of fire was noticed by Chennai airport staff, source said.

The affect of incident has put on flight operations as at lease six international flights have cancelled due to this.

Five tenders have pressed into service, sources added.

No reports about any causality even the cause of fire incident is also unknown, reports added the investigation over the matter has been started.
