One of the best Wrestlers, also actor Dara Singh’s condition is continuously going to be very critical. Singh who underwent dialysis is suffering from brain hemorrhage, damage to his brain because of lack of oxygen, as per doctors and at anytime can go into coma for long period.
“His condition is still very critical. MRI is showing significant damage to brain due to decreased oxygen supply to brain when he had the cardiac arrest,” Ram Narain, COO, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, told reporters.
The 83 years old, Commonwealth wrestling champion was admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Saturday following cardiac arrest and undergoing dialysis.
Except brain hemorrhage, problems are with his kidneys that are not performing well as the way they should. Therefore, doctors had to put him on dialysis.
Prayers are needed for his safety and speedy recovery.
The whole bollywood approached to hospital including Dharmendra, Farah Khan, Raja Murrad, Raju Shrivastav to meet with ailing Dara Singh.
“He is my darling brother. Let’s pray for him. Doctors are trying their best. Please pray for him,” Dharmendra told reporters outside hospital, urging people to pray for his quick recovery.
Singh was great wrestler who won the title of Rustam-e-Hind for his wrestling prowess. He was greatly popularized for his role of protagonist Hanuman in Ramayana, also well performed in his filmy career started in 1952 with Sangdil.
“Jab We Met” is the last film in which Dara Singh has been seen to perform on silver screen in 2007.
