Amid Indian budget tablet market segment where companies targeting larger middle class customers, Hong Kong-based tablet PC maker Eken Electronics comes with its Android Slate PCs, called ‘Eken Leopard’ an affordable but enhance featuring device in India.

Collaborating with Kerala-based Aldous Glare Trade & Exports (AGTE) in sake of delivering ‘Eken Leopard’ and other rang across the country, the company said, “India is an exploding market with a huge potential for cost-effective tablets. This factor prominently influenced us to launch quality budget tablets in India and this will enable computing advantage to everyone.”

EKEN Leopard Tablet comes with Android and preinstalled Google play store supporting plus 5,00,000 Apps. All EKEN series devices support 8GB storage on board, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling with three sizable options- 7-inch, 8-inch, 9.7-inch.

The company is made available its latest launch with connectivity options of 3G and GPS through Wi-Fi and 3G dongle with 1080 HD Video capabilities. It said that Eken tablets will hit on shelves by December at a price ranging between Rs. 6,900 – Rs. 11,999.
