From the past months, several infants’ death incidents have been bringing out in the different parts of Kolkata that accused the State health authorities to run hospitals.

As per report, eight infants’ babies have died at the BC Ray Memorial Hospital within past 24 hours, the sole state-run referral hospital for newborns in Bengal.

This is really horrible that State hit again with the infants’ death and hospital authorities are not ready to take any responsibility for this. According to them the babies were brought to the hospital in a critical state with low birth weight and infections.

But the parents who have lost their child claimed that the behavior of nurse staff has not well, they claimed that a section of nurses had misbehaved with a mother.

Angry parents and relatives all were blocked the roads by rushing the area and asked the authorities who was responsible for death of their child, they blamed them of having negligence and misbehavior in their treatment.

Infants’ death cases are brought from last few months in the State that affecting the health department with lack of infrastructure and security.

The chief minister Mamata Banerjee who headed the health department said that she has directed an inquiry to be conducted to find out the cause of the deaths of the infants and strict actions to be taken against accused one who will be responsible for this.
