According to latest news, a heart specialist working at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was shot dead by an unidentified man at point blank range at his residence in central Delhi today morning.

Reports have said that the 43-years-old, Dr Sanjiv Dhawan, was hit four to five bullets.

It is said that the killer reached to the balcony of Dr Dhawan’s 1st floor residence in New Rajinder Nagar at around 3 am and banged on the door. When Sanjiv Dhawan woke up to see who is in the balcony, he was shot four to five bullets.

Further, the Delhi Police officials said that the assailant reached Dr Sanjiv Dhawan residence for the maid who uses to work at his residence.

The maid earlier told Dr Sanjiv Dhawan that she was being harassed by the man who work as a security guard.

Now, the Delhi police have said that they are trying to arrest the assailant and maid has been arrested. Talking to media Davesh Srivastav the Assistant Police Commissioner of the area said, “We hope to trace him soon and get details.”
