Shane Watson 150x150 ICC World Twenty20: Pakistan to play against AustraliaAfter they lost against arch-rivals India in their last match, Pakistan has to beat Australia in today’s ICC World Twenty20 match of Super Eights group if they want to keep their hopes live in the tournament.

Pakistan is a very good cricketing side, but they showed very poor performance against India, and lost the match by 8 wickets. Pakistan cricket team will take on Australia today in Super Eights match played at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

But, today is a do-or-die match for Pakistan; they have to win the match with big margin. If Pakistan wins against Australia today, and India beats South Africa in the second match of the day. Then run rate will play the role.

Shane Watson will be the key player for Australia and Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi would be the key players for Pakistan.

Australia enjoys healthy run rate of +1.712, but Pakistan has -0.426 run rate and India has a -0.452 run rate. Therefore, both India and Pakistan have good chances to make their ways into Semi-finals.

On the other hand, West Indies and Sri Lanka had already made their way into semi-finals.
