India bounces back, Levels Twenty20 Series 1-1 against Pakistan

The superb all-round performance by star cricketer Yuvraj Singh has helped India to level Twnenty20 series 1-1 against Pakistan. India won the last and second Twenty20 match played at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad.

The 11-runs win over Pakistan was not easy for India, but finally India won the match. It was medium-pacer Ashok Dinda, who was a bit expensive, but also helped India to record win of 11 runs against Pakistan.

At one stage, when Pakistani captain Mohammad Hafeez was batting, it was hard for Indian bowlers to stop him. He was hitting Indian bowlers all-around the stadium, completing his 50 runs from just 23 balls hitting 6 fours and three huge sixes.

However, in the last couple of overs of the match, Ashok Dinda turned the game to India’s way. He took the important three wickets including Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal and brother Kamran Akmal.

Yuvraj took an important wicket of Ahmed Shahzad at the time when he was going strong.

Earlier, Pakistani captain won the toss and elected to field first.

India started well and completed 50 runs in 6overs. Gautam Gambhir was the first to go in the 5th over of Umar Gul, hitting 3 consecutive fours and then lost his wickets on the fifth ball of the over.

Yuvraj was the hero from Indian side, hitting 72 runs, his Twenty20 Best Score so far, from just 36 balls with 4 fours and 7 sixes. Umar Gul was the pick of the bowlers from Pakistan with 4-37 in his four overs spell.

Now, India and Pakistan will play three ODIs starting from December 30.
