Indian players can play anywhere: VVS Laxman

India v/s Australia, the two big guns of the cricket world are set to face each other in the first test which is scheduled on December 26, 2011. As always, players from Australia are playing mind game with Indian cricket team, in connection to this, they are giving statement that may affect the moral of Indian players.

After the recent comment by the former Australia skipper, Mark Taylor on the performance of India batsman VVS Laxman that India’s aging batsmen ‘have enjoyed a free ride on flat home pitches’, now VVS Laxman has put the bouncer by giving his response in a very formal way.

However smartly criticizing on the comment of Mark, the Indian batsman Laxman says, “Indian batsmen can play anywhere.” This reply seemed to be so aggressive that showed that he has not taken remarks of Mark Taylor too kindly.

In a report that is published in Herald Sun, Laxman saying in his quote that he usually does not react to what others think. “That is the view point of Mark Taylor. am happy we have been able to perform in conditions and delivered everywhere except for England which was disastrous for various reasons,” he added..

By identifying Indian Batsmen ability to perform everywhere, Laxman said, “I think Australian surfaces are best for batting, I relish batting in such conditions. There is true bounce and you get value for your shots. I think the wickets are as good for Hussey and Ponting as us.”
