Should Sachin quit ODIs, 57% say YES
The former captain and much respected Australia cricket player Ricky Ponting has finally said bye bye to One-Day cricket.
There is no doubt that he is one of the most successful captain of Australia and the second most run getter in ODIs after Sachin Tendulkar.
Now, hundreds of cricket fans want to know that should Saching Tendulkar also quit ODI?
As per the study conducted by the TOI online poll, around 57% have said ‘yes’, showing that people are not happy with the Sachin’s ongoing performance in Australia.
Though, the poll was observed online on TOI’s website on, and more than 47,000 has replied to the poll. The question asked in the TOI Poll was, ‘Should Sachin retire from ODIs?’ in reply to this around 19,127 voted ‘no’ (41%), and 26,813 votes were polled in favour of the question. Read more
As per the latest cricket news, the Australia captain Michael Clarke won the toss and decide to bat first against India in the 4th of the tri-series at Adelaide ODI on Sunday.
In addition to this, the India cricket team has decided to rest master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and opener Gautam Gambhir comes in his place who was dropped from the Perth ODI against Sri Lanka.
It is said to media that this is a part of rotation policy. Australia made 269 runs with the loss of 8 wickets in the 50 overs match. India will chase 270 runs in their 50 overs play.

Sahara India withdraws its sponsorship from Team India
The biggest breaking news of the morning is that Sahara India has announced to withdrawn their sponsorship from Indian cricket team as well as their ownership from IPL franchise Pune Warriors.
Reports have said that this happened after the Sahara denied replacement for Yuvraj Singh for the upcoming IPL season five matches.
The press release issued by Sahara states that they are withdrawing from all cricket under BCCI. Meanwhile, the Sahara India earlier urged BCCI to pass on Pune Warriors team to some other interested party immediately.
In the meantime, the real deal of Sahara India with BCCI ends in 2010 after the company invested around Rs 400 crore on team India in four-years of period. Read more
According to the latest reports from the cricket match between India and Australia, Indian captain MS Dhoni has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the only T20 match played at Stadium Australia, Sydney today.
The only T20 match between India and Australia is a day/night match.
Meanwhile, Indian captain MS Dhoni decided to play with regular opener Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir. There are two regular spinners in the side—Rahul Sharma and R Ashwin.
