A latest turmoil in Syria, Israel’s warplane hit out heart of Syria, launching an airstrike inside its territory, tensed its civil war on the border between Syria and Lebanon.
Spreading a long two-year Syria’s civil conflict beyond the country’s borders, Israel’s attack destroyed a military scientific research centre northwest of the capital Damascus, as per reports.
According to media reports, Syrian military confirmed that the airstrike targeted a site near the Lebanese border.
The target was believed an army convoy inside Syria carrying anti-aircraft weapons bound for Lebanese Shia militant group Hezbollah, a U.S. official said, as per earlier news reports.
