Israel Embassy Car Blast: India condemn the attack, not blaming any national group
India refused to blame any national group or organization for Monday’s bomb attack on a car carrying an Israeli diplomat’s wife. But it claimed that it was an act of terrorist group.
Union home minister P Chidambaram confined his response and said, “I am not pointing fingers at a particular group or organization. However, we condemn the attack in the strongest terms.”
Investigating agencies has no evidence regarding a particular country, but it is clear that the attack has been executed by a well-trained person in support of a group. The bomb used in the Delhi attack has not yet been used even in a terror strike in India. Read more
Bangkok thrilled with three bomb blasts
The biggest breaking of the evening is that three explosions in the Thai capital have left the city in a state of panic today afternoon.
Further, reports have said that around five people were seriously injured when a man [may be Iranian] carrying a grenade exploded.
Talking to media about the blasts in the city, Thai Police officials said that the wounded man is thought to be an Iranian.
In a photo uploaded on social networking site Twitter reveals the wounded man who lay on a sidewalk after the bomb balst. Read more
No RDX was used in Israeli embassy car blast
The first round investigation into the Israel Embassy car blast in New Delhi on yesterday has announced that there is no use of RDX in the attack.
Meanwhile, it is said in reports that the damage to the car was mainly due to the fire and not because of the explosion.
Sources said that high quality sulphur-based compound was used in the car blast.
While talking to media, an official from the investigating agency said, “The bomb was as big as a human palm or slightly bigger than that and a highly trained person on a motorcycle was used to plant it.”
According to them, the bomb had a self triggering device that worked and that do not need a remote control. Read more
