‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ shoot delayed, Yash Chopra Hospitalized

According to latest Bollywood news, director Yash Chopra has been admitted to hospital on Saturday after being diagnosed with an attack of dengue.

The legendary filmmaker has been under observation since then, an official from Yash Raj Films said, “He is feeling much better and should be home soon.”

Meanwhile, it is said that Yash Chopra and crew was expected to leave for Switzerland for the shooting of his last film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ the spokesperson said, “The shooting that was scheduled for Switzerland later this month has been postponed.”

He said, “The unit wants to make it very special for Yashji and his last shot to be a huge moment for him. Though his son Aditya Chopra who is the assistant director on the film may not be on the set but has worked hard to make the last days of his father’s shooting days to be the best of his life.”

Yash Chopra started his career in Bollywood as an an assistant to IS Johar and later started his won with his brother BR Chopra.

In 1959, Yash Chopra first directed film ‘Dhool Ka Phool’, casting Mala Sinha, Rajendra and Nanda in the lead roles.
